Overview

Myx is a unique Tem thanks to its Puppet Master trait. If Myx gets into Puppet Master's health range without dying, it is safe from any non-spread moves so long as it is not the last Tem on the field. Boasting one of the highest special attack stats in the game as well as powerful offensive techniques, Myx can become a fearsome threat with its untargetability. Myx can also offer useful control utility in Energy Manipulation and Cage.

Myx is a very peculiar tem - it's very fragile, but is one of the few tems in the game that can become truly unkillable due to the nature of its trait, Puppet Master. Redirection is very, very powerful in a game like Temtem and Myx can relatively consistently apply it away from itself. Just watch out for spread moves.

While much of the tem is concentrated around positioning Puppet Master to trigger effectively, we would be remiss not to mention that Myx's fantastic special attack and access to STAB priority Crystal Spikes and Energy Manipulation, as well as Psy Surge, make it a fearsome special attacker, able to hammer neutrals, mentals, melees and electrics, a rare and powerful combo. Cage, Refresh, Quartz Dirt all offer different things, this set takes advantage of Refresh to boost Myx's special attack when possible.

TV spreading a Myx requires a degree from Arbury University, but start with this. 0 bulk Myx gets put into "PM" range from a wide range of attacks - including your own Crystal Spikes - but if you find yourself being KO'd too easily, start to slowly drop speed for bulk as you see fit.

Tulcan is a very interesting partner for Myx. You can use the Burn status, applied through Heater and Fiery Soul, to manipulate what you live and do not live, to help secure Puppet Master.
